Students from Ukrainian universities may transfer to the Wrocław University of Science and Technology

Date: 07.04.2022 Category: general news

The Senate of the university has adopted changes to the rules of study, allowing Polish and Ukrainian citizens to transfer from Ukrainian universities to the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Thanks to this, people who had problems with continuing their studies because of the war in Ukraine will not have to interrupt their studies.

Citizens of Poland or Ukraine who studied in Ukraine until the outbreak of war can apply for transfer to the Wrocław University of Technology.

In the case of Ukrainians - their stay in Poland must be recognized as legal on the basis of the Act on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in Connection with Armed Conflict in the Territory of that State. The condition for continuation of education at the university is that these persons were students of a university operating on the territory of Ukraine on 24 February 2022.

Persons who do not have documents confirming the periods of studies, passed examinations, passes or professional practice may have the relevant periods of these studies recognised through verification of the educational results achieved (in terms of majors and specializations as well as general and basic subjects).

Applications for admission to studies should be submitted to the Recruitment Department.
