The results of the latest ranking of tertiary institutions Perspektywy 2018 have been announced. Once again, Wrocław University of Science and Technology has proven to be Lower Silesia’s best tertiary institution. On the national level, this time we reached the sixth place while taking the third place in the category of technical universities

wejscie_glowne_do_budynku_a-1.jpgWrocław University of Science and Technology has been the leader in the region already for ten consecutive years. At the same time, we are still one of the top polish technical universities, closely following the Technical University of Warsaw and the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow.

Moreover, we have been recognised for the effectiveness of acquiring EU funds for the purpose of the university’s development - recently nobody has done it better in Poland. In the innovation category, we ranked second.

It’s worth pointing out that in the Ranking of Engineering Degree programmes ‘2018, published in mid-April, the Civil Engineering programme at the University’s Faculty of Civil Engineering was acknowledged Poland’s best.

Second places in their relevant rankings were reached by Biotechnology (Faculty of Chemistry), Chemical and Process Engineering (Faculty of Chemistry), Chemical Technology (Faculty of Chemistry), and Production Management and Engineering (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering). The ranking’s top places also saw Architecture (Faculty of Architecture), Power Engineering (Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering), Mining and Geology (Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining, and Geology), Mechatronics (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), and Mechanics and Machine Construction (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering).
