Professor Denis Jacquemin’s visit
Professor Denis Jacquemin, a world-renowned chemist from the University of Nantes, is going to visit Wrocław University of Science and Technology in October (October 22-24) under the Visiting Professors programme. The research conducted by Professor Denis Jacquemin focuses on the electron structure of compounds such as organic dyes, fluorescent probes, photochromic substances, nucleic base acids, and compounds demonstrating intramolecular proton transfer in electron excited states.
Programme of the visit:
- October 22, 11.15 am - "In-silicodyechemistry" - open lecture (room 241, building A-1),
- October 23, 11.15 am – “Towards chemically-accurate excited-state energies and properties with theory” - open specialist lecture (room 007, building D-21),
- October 24, 11.15 am - "Modelling excited states of organic molecules with quantum tools" - workshop (room 10, building C-6, for admission enquire at robert.zalesny@pwr.edu.pl).
The visit was organised under the municipal programme Visiting Professors.
