Our scientists and specialists from Extremo Technologies have sent extremophilic volcanic microalgae into space. They were taken there by Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski. All this to test how the algae would cope in such extreme conditions.

A few weeks before the admission process begins – usually in March – we organise the Open Doors Days, during which candidates may see what our University looks like from the inside and what our educational infrastructure we have at our disposal. It is also an opportunity to talk with our students, lecturers and staff responsible for admissions.
