Regional Rankings Emerging Europe and Central Asia has been published since 2014 as part of the QS World University Rankings. The ranking looks at criteria such as the assessment of academic staff, reputation among employers, ratio of the number of employees to the number of students, internationalisation level, publications and quotations, as well as - from this year on - participation in international research networks.
Wrocław University of Science and Technology went up by one position as against the previous year, while in comparison with the first ranking, published in 2014, we are as many as 14 places higher. Currently, our university holds 43rd position, and among Polish universities, we have the fourth position, outstripped by the Jagiellonian University, the University of Warsaw, and the Warsaw University of Technology, but doing better than the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow and the University of Wrocław.
This year, we were ranked best in terms of participation in international research networks (43rd position), scientific publications (46th position), reputation among employers (48th position), and academic staff evaluation (49th position).
