On Saturday, the Wrocław edition of the cult game Monopoly was presented at Pasaż Grunwaldzki shopping centre. The board features two spaces related to Wrocław University of Science and Technology

Wrocław is Poland's fourth city, following Warsaw, Cracow and Gdańsk, to have its own edition of the game. At the ceremonial premiere, the visitors saw what places and streets of the capital of Lower Silesia were featured on the board.  One of the game's three most expensive spaces is "Wrocław University of Science and Technology", depicting the tertiary institute's main building. Only the Tumski (Cathedral) Island and the Centennial Hall turned out to be more valuable than WUST. Additionally, each player may buy the "Polinka" space, which will serve as one of four transport spaces.

A few days before the premiere, the University campus was visited by Mr Monopoly. When taking a tour of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, he met Pro-Rector for Student Affairs Jacek Lamperski PhD and representatives of the self-government. He also visited the University's most popular places: The Students' Culture Zone, building C-13, Students' Passage and Polinka.
