Professor Jerzy Rozenblit from the State University of Arizona has received a Fulbright grant for research into computer aided training for laparoscopic surgeons. The scientist will conduct it at Wrocław University of Science and Technology

Professor Rozenblit has received a grant of almost USD 2 million from the American National Science Foundation with a view to developing and testing a training system providing touch prompts and enlarged images for doctors using laparoscopic tools. Part of the research in this area will be carried out at Wrocław University of Science and Technology - thanks to the grant of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Foundation.

Professor Rozenblit will arrive in Wrocław in February 2017 to work at the laboratory of Virtual Laparoscopy operating in the Department of Automatics, Mechatronics and Control Systems at the Faculty of Electronics of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
