Our university has, for the sixth time, recognised 100 young scientists in the Secundus competition. The honourees hail from fourteen scientific disciplines, boasting the highest sums of points obtained for research papers. The contenders had to be scientists without habilitation degrees, under 40 years of age in 2024.

The competition looked at articles published in 2024 in scientific journals and reviewed material used at international scientific conferences, as well as scientific monographs. Special awards and prizes of 10,000 PLN were granted to fourteen first-place awardees in a given scientific discipline, with the remaining laureates receiving each an amount of 5,000 PLN.
