"Science2Power" - premiere of the Wrocław Tech miniseries

Why do we send laboratories the size of thermos flasks into space? What will architecture look like in the future? How do engineers fight cancer? These are just some of the important topics raised by Wrocław Tech researchers in the new documentary miniseries "Science2Power".

The premiere of the first episode - "The Challenges of Contemporary Architecture" - will take place on Friday, 19 November at 7 p.m. on our YouTube channel. Next episodes will be released on a weekly basis up to December 21.

We will take viewers to the laboratories, workshops and studios where our scientists work every day. In the documentary they will talk about their research and technologies that change our lives.

Which way is science headed?

Each episode of "Science2Power" will focus on one challenge that Wrocław Tech scientists are currently tackling - from fighting breast cancer, through designing electric vehicles and smart cities, to space exploration.

In the series twelve researchers from Wroclaw University of Science & Technology will talk about their experiences and work, including Prof. Jan Biliszczuk, designer of the Wroclaw Rędziński Bridge, Prof. Jan Dziuban,a world class specialist in the field of nano- and micro-engineering or Dr. Joanna Bauer, whose team received the European award for innovators for research on breast cancer therapy.

The series was prepared by Camera Nera. The episodes are narrated by Andrzej Ferenc.
