The 10th edition of the Unite! Dialogue conference is underway at TU Darmstadt. During the three-day event, representatives from the nine alliance member universities participate in joint workshops, working groups and lectures. Our university is represented by nearly 40 people.
Unite! Dialogue is a forum for lecturers, students and researchers from Unite! member universities to make new contacts and collaborate. enabling them to make new contacts and collaborate with colleagues from other universities on issues such as the sustainable future of the European university agenda.
The event, held under the theme ‘Inspiring People - Sparking Innovation’, is attended by around 500 participants, including representatives from the European Commission. The organisers have prepared many interesting meetings and workshops for them, including the interactive World Café format introduced for the first time.
In addition, conferences open to a wider range of stakeholders have also been prepared to introduce them to the work of the Alliance. One such event is the 2nd Unite! Branding Event, a conference that aims to foster inspiration, innovation and collaboration and provide a platform to discuss the achievements, challenges and impact of the University Alliance. Katarzyna Chojnacka, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for International Relations at Wrocław Tech deliver her lecture during one of the panels of this conference.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Unite!, a special signpost was erected on the TU Darmstadt campus with plaques pointing the way to each of the alliance's member universities. It was unveiled by Prof Tanja Brühl, President of the University of Darmstadt, who serves as President of Unite!
