The Academic Radio Luz has announced the winners of the next edition of the Mug for a Lecturer poll. Kajetan Sadowski, PhD from the Faculty of Architecture was one of the five winners.

kajetan_sadowski1.jpgThis year, the poll had a slightly different character. The organisers wanted to honour the lecturers who during the COVID-19 pandemic stood up to the challenge and treated the possibility of remote work as an opportunity to do something even better than before.

– Woken up in a new reality, we had to adapt to a different world. Also, a different world in terms of teaching. Some of us did it more efficiently than others - explains Anna Geryn, editor-in-chief at the radio station.

Eventually, for the first time in history, the organisers decided to award as many as five people with a radio mug, including Kajetan Sadowski, PhD, Eng, Arch from the Department of Architectural and Construction Design at WUST’s Faculty of Architecture.

– I consider these awards to be a token of recognition and a thank you for the work and commitment I put into delivering my classes - says doctor Kajetan Sadowski. – Conducting classes online, a new situation in which we all found ourselves, was stressful but also very motivating for me. I wanted to use all the potential of remote teaching tools. I think that we took a big step forward, us and the students.

In his private life, doctor Sadowski is a fan of good science books, sci-fi films, and space architecture. – I also play some music and of course draw, as befits an architect – says doctor Kajetan Sadowski. And adds that he devotes far too much time to endurance sports.
