A "Game Zone" has been opened at the Bibliotech building, where students and staff of Wrocław University of Science and Technology can relax and unwind between classes. The zone is open Monday to Friday, from midday to 09.00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 08.00 am to 03.00 pm
Visitors to the new facility will be able to enjoy modern Xbox One consoles with an optional Kinect kit and video game sets - FIFA 16, Halo 5, Forza, Call of Duty, and Sport Rivals.
– The zone is located on the ground floor of the Bibliotech building, in room 003. The games will be made available as multimedia materials, so an active library card won't be necessary - explains Jędrzej Leśniewski, vice director of CWINT (Centre for Scientific and Technical Knowledge and Information) for Libraries.
You may sign up for the Library at the Main Lending Library (building A1, room 307A).
Additionally, the zone features high-performance workstations for the members of the TK Games Science Club. The club members are BSc, MSc and PhD students of Wrocław University of Science and Technology interested in the field of video game development.
