Wrocław University of Science and Technology has become one of fourteen European tertiary institutes offering the best conditions of education to students who take part in the Erasmus international student exchange programs

The study has been conducted by the StudyPortals service for the fourth time already. This year, opinions of some 16 thousand people, students of European universities in the academic year 20/2016, were collected. Participants of the Erasmus program rated universities applying a 1-10 grade scale in terms of course organisation, the quality of preparation for admitting foreign people, and the atmosphere in the student milieu.  

Ultimately, awards were granted to 153 tertiary institutes from the entire Europe which scored ratings of at least 8. Only fourteen universities attained ratings of 9.5 and more. The narrow group included two Polish universities - Wrocław University of Science and Technology and Cracow's AGH University of Science and Technology.  

Over 600 students from different parts of the world pursued their courses at Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the winter semester. The largest numbers of these, as was the case in previous years, come from Ukraine and India. Moreover, for the first time in our history, we have admitted students from Guatemala and Qatar. Wrocław University of Science and Technology has received about 300 students under international student exchange programs, the majority of whom hail from Spain and Turkey, but also Mexico, Brazil as well as, for the first time, Serbia.
