Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering and international leader in nuclear energy – Framatome invite you to take part in series of lectures ‘Basics EPR technology overview’. It will take place from 20th to 24th November.

The event is intended to all students interested in working in the nuclear energy sector.

It will take place from 20th to 24th November at university’s main building (A-1), room 127 “Senate Hall”.

The EPR is a third generation pressurised water reactor design. It has been designed and developed mainly by Framatome and Électricité de France (EDF) in France, and by Siemens in Germany. In Europe this reactor design was called European Pressurised Reactor, and the internationalised name was Evolutionary Power Reactor, but is now simply called EPR.

Lectures about its technology will be given by: Jean‐Luc Jacoud, Jeremy Bischoff, Jeanne Schroeder, Matthieu Taglione, Celine Truong, Violaine Chalon‐Roux and Romuald Jurkowski.
