A researcher from the Faculty of Architecture receives a Fulbright scholarship

Łukasz Damurski PhD, DSc from the Faculty of Architecture has been awarded a Fulbright Senior Award - the largest scientific and cultural exchange programme operating in the United States. 

l_damurski_2017.jpgThe Polish-American Fulbright Commission has announced the names of Polish students, doctoral students, and scientists who will go to the USA on a Fulbright scholarship to be held in the academic year 2020-2021.

The Fulbright Program, the largest scientific and cultural exchange initiative in the United States, has been for over 70 years supporting cooperation for the development of science, culture, as well as interpersonal and inter-institutional relations between the USA and over 160 countries.

The winner of this year's Fulbright Senior Award is Łukasz Damurski PhD, DSc, Eng. of our university’s Faculty Of Architecture. The programme provides scholarships for research as well as research and teaching staff of Polish scientific institutions, enabling them to carry out their own projects in the USA. During their stay abroad, lasting from three to nine months, scholarship holders conducts their own research project at an American university, research institute, governmental institution, or non-governmental organisation. In addition to carrying out their research project, they may also become involved in teaching activity.
