Perspektywy 2019 ranking: we have four of the best degree programmes in the country

Four best degree programmes in Poland, third place among the country’s technical universities, sixth place in the general classification, and the usual first place in Lower Silesia - these are the results of Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the latest ranking of universities and colleges organised by the Foundation Perspektywy 2019.

wydzial_architektury_pwr.jpgThis year, the results of both the national ranking and those summarizing the best degree programmes were for the first time announced simultaneously. In this comparison, four degree programmes conducted by Wrocław University of Science and Technology turned out to be unrivalled on a national scale. In the category of technical and engineering faculties, these are Architecture (Faculty of Architecture), Civil Engineering (Faculty of Civil Engineering), and Chemical Technology (Faculty of Chemistry),  while first place among social degree programmes went to Spatial Management (Faculty of Architecture).

Second places in the individual rankings were taken by Production Management and Engineering (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), Biotechnology (Faculty of Chemistry), and Chemical Engineering (Faculty of Chemistry).

Technical Physics (Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology), Environmental Engineering (Faculty of Environmental Engineering), Materials Engineering (Faculty of Chemistry), and Chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry) were also classified among the winners.

pwr_promocje_doktorskie_2019.jpgWrocław University of Science and Technology turned out to be our region’s best university for the eleventh time in a row. For another consecutive year, we have been among of the top Polish technical universities, closely following the Technical University of Warsaw and the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow.

As in the previous years, we are recognised for our scientists’ innovativeness (fourth place in the country), as well as graduates who find it easy to succeed in the labour market (fifth place) as well as being highly valued by employers (fifth place).
