The first Polish lecture at Wrocław University of Science and Technology was delivered by Professor Kazimierz Idaszewski on November 15 1945. This date is celebrated as the tertiary institute's feast day as well as a feast of Wrocław's academic life

• Ceremony of laying flowers at the monument of Martyrdom of Lviv Professors (Prof. Kazimierz Idaszewski Sq.),  
• Ceremony of laying flowers commemorating Professors of Cracow who were imprisoned in Wrocław in 1939 (Memorial Plaque in Sądowa St)
• Ceremony of laying flowers commemorating Professors of Cracow who were imprisoned in Wrocław in 1939 (Kleczkowska/Reymonta St.)

9:30 a.m.

• Ceremony of unveiling of the new Professors names (Alley of the Professors of Wrocław University of Science and Technology)          

11:00 a.m. (Assembly Hall of Wrocław University of Science and Technology,  27 Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego St.) 

• Inaugural speech of the Rector, Prof. Cezary Madryas  
• Ceremony of awarding distinctions and honors 
• Ceremony of awarding the nominations for Members of Honorary Congress of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology 
• Ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to prof. Wojciech Witkiewicz, MD Director of Regional Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, Research and Scientific Center, President of Polish Society for Robotic Surgery. 

The ceremony will be accompanied by the performance of Wrocław University of Science and Technology Academic Choir and Symphony Orchestra under the conduction of Małgorzata Sapiecha-Muziołty.
