Lem Next Gen Science Forum
at Wrocław Tech is a conference created for young scientists and by a community that believes in their potential. It is a space where students, PhD candidates, and early‑career researchers take the lead, present their work, and actively shape the future of science. Join us on April 28–29, 2026 (Wrocław
 Tech Congress Centre).

The programme includes presentations by young researchers from around the world, panel discussions and networking opportunities.

The event will begin on Tuesday, 28 April, with the official ceremony of awarding the Stanisław Lem European Scientific Award 2025 (Lem Prize) to Prof. Li Tang from the Swiss École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

In November 2025, the award committee recognised his groundbreaking discoveries related to the functioning of the immune system in the fight against cancer.

More information and registration are available on the forum website.

The partners of the event are research institutions forming the Max Born Wrocław Research Alliance (the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Low Temperature and Structural Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development), as well as the Agreement of Technical Universities’ Doctoral Students.

The event is held under the patronage of Dr. Marcin Kulasek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland; Prof. Krzysztof Pyrć, President of the Foundation for Polish Science; the National Science Centre; Paweł Gancarz, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship; and Jacek Sutryk, Mayor of Wrocław.
