Prof. Renata Krzyżyńska, Vice-Rector for External Relations at Wrocław Tech, has been elected Vice-President of the prestigious T.I.M.E. Association. The election took place during the T.I.M.E. General Assembly 2025, currently hosted by LUT University in Lappeenranta, Finland.

The T.I.M.E. Association (Top International Managers in Engineering) is a network of 57 leading technical universities and engineering schools from 25 countries. It promotes postgraduate student exchange and double degree programmes in Europe and worldwide, enabling students to gain advanced engineering education.

At the annual General Assembly 2025, new leadership was appointed. Prof. Zita Martins, Vice-Rector of Técnico Lisboa, became President, while Prof. Renata Krzyżyńska now serves as Vice-President.

“The future of education quality no longer depends solely on what we do within our own walls – close cooperation, not only at the European but also at the global level, is crucial,” said Prof. Krzyżyńska. “Through sharing experiences and joint projects, we can shape education ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.”

During the meeting, the new strategy for 2025–2026 was also announced. It sets the development priorities for the entire network, focusing on strengthening joint teaching programmes and building closer ties with the business sector.

A key goal of the new leadership is to raise the visibility of double degree programmes, now considered one of the most effective pathways to an international career.
