All data for the ranking come from the Web of Science database and cover five scientific fields: biomedical and health sciences, life and earth sciences, mathematics and computer science, physical sciences and engineering, and social sciences and humanities.
Based on these data, universities are evaluated in four categories: scientific impact, collaboration, open access, and gender diversity. Full ranking methodology.
