Is it worth to dream? – about inventions, new technologies, innovation development, about implementations and success. Numbers are not optimistic… Studying the EU innovation ranking we will find Poland on the 4th position, but unfortunately from the end of the list. On the other hand we can see brilliant successful companies. So everything seems to be possible. Like in dreams. There are no borders and puzzles consist of the whole. Dreams wake up an appetite, fire the imagination and boost our creativity as well as provoke changes.

In May we would like to welcome to our conference new technologies enthusiasts. During 3 days we would like to talk, show examples, discuss why it’s worth to dream and first of all how to make our dreams about new technologies and development come true. How to break our limits and create global success.

TOP500 INNOVATORS & POLISH – AMERICAN INNOVATION BRIDGE (PAMI)

Starting from evening - 8th May to 10th May 2019 welcome to visit our event located in the Congress Center of the Technical University of Science and Technology in Wroclaw.

Agenda

During this Meet Up you will see:

• American keynote speakers invited by the U.S. Embassy in Poland as a part of Polish-American Innovation Bridge: Lynne Henkiel, Director of Innovation Ecosystems in the Startup Ecosystems group at Enterprise Innovation Institute (Atlanta, USA) and Arek Goetz, Professor, Department of Mathematics San Francisco State University, start up Mangoroot founder, (California, USA).
• Discussion panels represented by 20 CEO’s of technology start up’s specialized in: Space, Industry 4.0, Bio Tech as well as Med Tech areas. Among panellists you could see real stories, lessons learned of CEO’s and representants od such companies as: VIGO Systems, Bioceltix, Pure Biologics, ToopLoox, NestMedic, SDS Optic, Space is More, NeuroSys, AlphaMoon, SatRevolution, Kell ideas, Bioavlee, Captor Therapeutics, Nysa, InferMedica, eMedica, Silesian Catalysts.
• During Meet Up the role of hosts will manage TOP500 Innovators alumni – scientists as well as technology transfer specialists, who participated in prestigious scholarship program at such universities as: Stanford, Berkeley, Cambridge. Nowadays they have been developing wide areas of industry, science and technology transfer.
• During workshops we would like to focus on learning selected tools or specialized elements of knowledge. Specially for our participants we have summarized them in the tool kit dedicated to participants, who will also receive attendance certificate after workshop. We will prepare for the audience the following workshops: inventive problem solving, industrial design, effective commercialization in the context of new legislation, public speaking like TEDex, affiliate workshop SME
• Instrument, development of social networks, legal aspects of technology and business development of start up’s - between IP protection and contracts, how to develop their networking with LinkedIn.
  Inventors as well as innovation teams will have a chance to present their ideas during Pitch Deck in front of the conference audience and first of all in front of the VC Funds representives - AUGERE Venture and Shape.vc Venture.
• During Meet Up we will take special care about moderated by experts networking sessions. It is interesting during such events to build real environment to get to know one another, exchanged views and contacts.
• Due to attendance of Piotr Dardziński – President of the Łukasiewicz Network Research, our event would be also a great opportunity for deeper discussion about effective commercialization in the context of new legislation (law on Higher Education as well as law on the Łukasiewicz Research Network). The representative of the Polish Center for Technology Development as a part of the Łukasiewicz Network Research will be also presented during workshop as an example of this new kind of organization.

To participate in the conference we would like to invite inventors of innovative ideas, start up’s representatives, students, scientists R&D oriented companies and other organizations interested in technology development.

We believe that it will be a unique chance to watch practitioners, talk and exchange values and beliefs, look for employers as well as employees, science or business partners, present own ideas in front of investors and gain practical skills.
